If you'd like to inquire about the state of a female's pubic hair, "How does your garden grow?" is the only acceptable way to ask. Personally, I trim mine very short using hair clippers about once/week. It keeps things tidy and inviting, and there's still a reminder that I'm a woman, not a girl.
